Question by aangtheman: Adverse adjudication? What are my chances of qualifying for the Air Force?
Ok, here is my situation. Note: this all happened 3 years ago. I have a disorderly conduct hazardous / physi off on my record which I was found not guilty of. The night of my “arrest” I had smoke some marijuana and I admitted it to the arresting officer. I was originally taken in with a DUI charge but I never got processed and was let go the same night. I went to court and the judge found me not guilty and all I had to do was write a check to donate to a local boys & girls club. My license was never suspended nor was i given anything else, ex. community server or probation. And that was the end of it. Although, I have racked up about 5 traffic violations within 8 years of my driving career. All of which were minor violations. I did extensive research and found out I may be DQ for entry into the AF because of my disorderly conduct that I was never charged of. I only had to “donate” money. Other than the traffic violations my slate is cleaned. I want to be prepared with the right questions and answers before I talk to a recruiter. What is adverse adjudication? Does this apply to my situation? Do I mention about the DUi even though i wasn’t found guilty of that crime?

If they ask you specifically on what charges have you had be honest and just see what they say. You lie about anything and they find out the truth you could be discharged.
