Q&A: Difference between deferred adjudication and deferred disposition?

Posted: 25 Jul 2012 03:06 AM PDT

Question by TB: Difference between deferred adjudication and deferred disposition?
I’m filling out a job application and it asks if I’ve ever been on deferred adjudication.

I have been on deferred disposition for getting an MIC ticket. Would that be the same thing?

Question by funguy2764: Can I have an Indiana Speeding ticket taken under advisement or placed in deferred adjudication?
I recently received a speeding ticket in Indiana and would like to know if there is any way that the ticket can be held back, such as deferred adjudication or taken under advisement, so that it does not go on my driving record immediately, with the understanding it is dropped after a certain time period if certain conditions are met, such as are no other tickets received, or upon completion of a driver improvement course?
