How does deferred adjudication in speeding tickets in Texas?

Question by Samatar I: How does deferred adjudication in speeding tickets in Texas?
I am 17 years old and in December I received my 1st speeding ticket. I was going 10 over on the highway. I had the ticket dismissed and took a defensive driving class. However I have recently got another ticket for talking on a cell phone in a school speed zone. Is there a way for deferred adjudication to work for me? Also is teen court an option? What other ways could the ticket be taken care of and my insurance rates not to go up?
Please help!

If you tell them about the first ticket you are not going to get off on the second one.
Ask the court if you can take driver’s safety class or something so it doesn’t go on your record, and don’t volunteer any info.
And get a hands free phone.

Q&A: Who knows of a good DUI Lawyer in San Diego?

Question by Lizart56: Who knows of a good DUI Lawyer in San Diego?
I am pleading NOT GUILTY and need a good Defense Lawyer for a DUI that has reasonable rates and a good track record, any suggestions?
Due to a recent Injury I have been out of work, so I’m extremely LOW INCOME right now and my disability income has recently run out! I was assigned a Public Defender but unfortunately it did not feel like they were working in my best interest?
Can anyone recommend a better solution to help me out? Does San Diego County have contract Lawyers? or do I need to Hire a Lawyer who specailizes in DUI’s

Use the website below to research attorneys in California and San Diego County specifically who represent clients charged with Driving Under the Influence offense/s.

If you were assigned a Public Defender, it may be necessary for you to notify the court and/or the attorney that you wish to hire someone else. They Public Defenders are often very busy…they do have other cases that are active simultaneously.

It is your decision…
