Question by Exhilarating, isn’t it?: If you’re arrested for possession and get deferred adjudication, are you completely in the clear?
The father of my child was arrested last year for possession of marijuana and a controlled substance. He is on probation for a year and he says when that year is up, his record will be completely clean since it was his first offense. If he goes back to using and gets arrested again, will they take into account his prior arrest when trying him for the new possession charge?

He seems to think it would be like getting arrested the first time but I disagree.

www.theclaimsconnection.co.uk Welcome to the Claims Connection injury at work compensation service. In this video we discuss best practices for lifting heavy weights at work. This presentation outlines the preferred method for avoiding back injuries in accordance with the manual handling operations regulations 1992. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, as amended in 2002 apply to a wide range of manual handling activities which can include lifting pulling pushing or pressing. The following points will be of benefit to employees who regularly have to lift weights at work. Firstly consider whether the weight can be lifted with a handling aid or other equipment. Make sure you know where teh load is going to be placed and that you can access the area without any restrictions. Do you know how heavy the item is..? Many boxes will have the weight clearly marked and you should always check this before exerting yourself and commencing the lift. Consider whether the lift may in fact require 2 people. If the load is heavy can you rest the item on a table or shelf to break up the strain of the lift or how far you have to carry it? Keep the load close to your waist if at all possible and keep the heaviest side of any load closer to your body. This allows for a better grip. Get legal advice If you have been injured through lifting at work in this way and have not had a manual handling training course you should obtain legal advice to ensure that you understand your rights
