Just got my first speeding ticket in years going 76 in a 60 (late for work). If I choose the deferred adjudication option, will my insurance still go up? What about defensive driving? If you complete the classes and turn your certificate into the court, and don’t get another ticket in the time set by the court (usually 6 months or a year) you’re found not guilty, and it goes away and your insurance will never see it.
