Question by : Can I join the military with one deferred misdemeanor?
When I was 15 got arrested for having a joint in my pocket and was giving a deferred misdemeanor i went to a class and did 90days of probation but never saw or talked or went to jail and or got a probation officer never got arrest again and now that I got a high school diploma wanted to joint the army my record says possession of marijuana and that’s it my case has been closed for 2 years now

Question by : for a dui in california< should i get a lawyer or just a public defender?
i got a dui last month, i believe .20, a first offender, i know im guilty, just wonderif i should just go with a p.d or a lawyer

if you can afford a lawyer, I would go with that. I’m not saying public defenders are bad, but they do generally have a pile of cases they are working on and may not be able to apply as much time and effort to your case as a hired lawyer would.

Question by nismogurl95: What is the punishment for revoking deferred ajudication probation?
my husband is on probation for theft he got revoked for several things: resisting transport, driving with invalid liscense, resisting arrest i bonded him out then he went to report and his po arrested him for not paying his fines, not paying fines, and being out after curfew. Question is what can they do to him when he goes to court? He has an idea but not too sure. They can either send him to a state jail for 2 years or a place to pay off fines and hours. and sit his other charges in county jail. Does anyone know differently?

good chance if hes in now he will stay in till sentence done.
