Question by : will an arrest show up on a background check/keep me from getting a job?
I’m trying to get a job with the city and was arrested over 7 years ago on felony possession charges. I was never convicted due to DEJ (deferred entry of judgement). The application process isn’t specific to arrests or convictions but left vague with criminal history. I’m really pushing to get this job and don’t want to ruin my chances. How should I proceed?

Im guessing but if you were never convicted of the offense then your safe… Innocent until proven guilty. And you werent proven guilty
