I have a dui and tomorrow iam going to get a court date,and get my lawyer…..if i have a lawyer do i need to appear with my lawyer or can my lawyer appear for me without me being there iam in caliornia….sacramento conty

NO, the lawyer cannot. You will have to be their for everything except administrative hearings if there are any, usually not in a DUI case.}{

my wife received a DUI
She blew a .10 in Los Angeles, downtown area.
two lawyers we visited said they could (and have) beat charges like this in the past. this seems unrealistic, and I was hoping someone who has gone through this process could provide insight.
how strict is the california conviction rate, what’s the best we can hope for etc….

only way is to win the case without charges,most states will keep those type of records on your record indefinitely
