Question by Gloryus: So today (6/27) I was able to get a diversion or deferred adjudication on a speeding ticket I got April 14?
The hearing officer told me to come back in 2 months on August 22 to pay the fine of $ 175 (I was doing 82 in a 65 zone) but that if I got any ticket before coming back, the deal will be off. Well I have another ticket that Im going to court for also and the hearing is scheduled for July 11. If Im found guilty and have the ticket posted on my record does it mean my deal is off? The new ticket was issued on May 18. Technically, I had the 1st ticket before going to court for the 2nd ticket. Sorry if this is confusing… I just need some assurance that my deal isnt off.

Slow down, for pete’s sake. You’ll just have to wait and see. No one on this forum knows how this will turn out for you. Good luck, and get a grip on your driving habits.
